Fall Harvest Celebration

After planting and tending.... it was time to collect all the delicious garden veggies.  On October 6, 2018, we had the Fall Harvest Celebration!

Thank you to all that helped plant, tend and collect! The first year was a success!

United Way of Benton and Franklin Counties

United Way of Benton and Franklin Counties strives for a community where all individuals and families achieve their potential through education, financial stability and healthy lives. We improve the quality of life for every person in our community.

In order to live better, we must live United.

Their support and gift of $5,000 will help support 3 respite outings for as many as 8 persons each, providing caregiver families a much needed respite.

Exploring Art

Exploring Art Program starts this September.

Exploring Art is a program for our special needs adults, 21 years and older. The atmosphere is a relaxed time to enjoy the process of being creative, trying new mediums, and learning about how art can be used to relate our emotions.

*Caregivers are encouraged to stay if the participant needs support!

Technology in the Classroom

Ongoing Program

Technology in the classroom is aimed to provide training for young adults with developmental disabilities via tablet computers provided to high schools.  The tablets are loaded with software that has proved to be beneficial for teaching students with disabilities. Life skills students receive training in basic tasks that will help them find work after graduation. The tablets can send out reminders shortly before the task needs to be completed, so students know to start cleaning up, for example.

Community Programs

There are a variety of community organizations that offer programs in the Tri-Cities region.  Visit our community resources page and community partners page to find out more!

Be sure to check out Therapeutic Riding Of Tri-Cities (TROT) and Rascal Rodeo!
